FAQs

My car has 2/3 year manufacturer’s warranty, what is the maximum number of years that I can purchase the Car Warranty Insurance?
In total the Car Warranty should not exceed 5 years. Therefore, if you have 2 or 3 years manufacturer’s warranty, you can purchase 3 or 2 year Car Warranty Insurance respectively. Used cars will subject to an inspection.

If in the meantime I sell my car, will I be able to transfer the insurance on the new owner’s name?
The new owner, at his option, may choose to continue cover and a new policy will be issued in the new owner’s name.

What happens in case of total loss?
The remaining cover may be transferred to a replacement car subject to our prior agreement. Where the replacement car is deemed to be of a higher risk, an additional premium may be required.

Where should I have my car repaired?
We leave that at your option, however, there might be circumstances where we would direct you to a particular repairer.
