Elmo Insurance Ltd recently held a Christmas party for the elderly residents of Little Sisters of the Poor in Hamrun.

A total of 62 residents were treated to a programme prepared by the staff of Elmo  which included Christmas carols, bingo and a live performance by Gaia Cauchi, winner of the Junior Eurovision 2013. All the participants received Christmas gifts as well as bonus gifts during the bingo.

Commenting on the objective of hosting this party, William Harding, company chairman said, “We  believe that we have a responsibility to support the less fortunate in the community. It is hoped that the party will provide this frequently excluded members of society fun and good memories. We realize that senior citizens have other needs beyond financial support.  This is why we have decided to organize this party every year.  We do hope that this little effort will help make their Christmas a memorable one this year.”
