Elmo Insurance Ltd organised a blood donation drive in front of its offices in Ta’ Xbiex as part of its corporate social responsibility and to encourage employees to donate blood.

The purpose of this initiative was to help the Blood Donation Mobile Unit to reach out to members of the Maltese society who find it difficult to visit the Malta Blood Transfusion Unit, simply because they do not find the time to do so.

Elmo Insurance Ltd and the Blood Donation Unit staff expressed their gratitude and satisfaction for Elmo Insurance Ltd employees’ enthusiastic turnout in support of this just cause.

The National Blood Transfusion Centre, which is situated in St. Luke’s Square Guardamangia is open daily from 8.00a.m. until 6.00p.m., including Sundays and Public Holidays.
