Elmo Insurance organised another corporate social event in conjunction with the Pink October Campaign.   The aim is to generate awareness about breast cancer and to also raise funds which will go towards buying the equipment, treatment and research of breast cancer.  Detecting cancer at an early stage can only be achieved if people are educated and made aware of the symptoms.

All staff wore a touch of pink on this special day and showed their full support by participating in the multiple functions organised.  On the same day, the Blood Drive in collaboration with the National Blood Transfusion Service Malta, were at Elmo Head Office in Ta’ Xbiex and several employees and clients donated blood.

Members of staff made delicious cakes which were purchased at a donation.  A generous amount was collected and the Directors of Elmo Insurance contributed by doubling the amount collected.  All donations will be made to Europa Donna which is in partnership with Pink October.
